Get to know the center of Madrid in the most incredible way! Learn with us how the capital has been through history and how it turned out to be the city it is today. Our passionate guides will tell you amazing stories, legends, and anecdotes.
During this 2.5 hour tour we will take you to wonderful places around the center of the city. Departing from Puerta del Sol you’ll visit some of the most iconic buildings, monuments, squares, and historic neighborhoods in Madrid, such as The Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, El Barrio de los Austrias and much more!
As well as history you will discover the artistic side of the city, see popular areas for nightlife and discover modern architecture.
We offer this tour in English and in Spanish.
The Madrid Free Tour starts every day at 11 am by the BEAR Statue in Puerta del Sol (metro line 1, 2 and 3). Look for our guides with the BEAR logo in the red t-shirt and the big yellow sign. ATTENTION! Puerta del Sol is under construction at the moment, and the Bear Statue is currently covered, we are meeting right in front of the Apple Store!
HOW DOES THE FREE TOUR WORK?
Guides work on a tips-only basis but they never pressure you to leave a gratuity. Feel free to tip what you can afford and what you feel the tour was worth!
