About our salsa dancing experience in Granada
This is an hour experience of salsa, bachata or merengue. Our instructors will show you the essential steps to perform the different styles of Latin dance in little time.
Here´s what to expect during you class:
- Warm-up: Begin with some stretches of your feet, some footwork drills and light movements to ease your body into the rhythm of Latin dance.
- Footwork: Practice the basic forward and backward footsteps: side-to-side and cha-cha- Coordinate these steps with the music.
- Work with your partner: Practice leading, following techniques and reponding to each other´s movements.
- Turns and spins: Learn the basic right and left turns focusing on balance and timing.
- Rhythm: Develop your sense of timing and build awareness of the tempo of the chosen music. Aligning the movements learned and coordination with your partner.
