About our flamenco dance workshop in Barcelona
It´s an hour experience that will teach you the fundamental steps to gain confidence and able to master this dance in a short time. Ideal for beginners, groups of family, friends or hen´s do.
- Footwork: Making fast & impactful movements using the balls of the feet to create a rhythmic pattern on the floor.
- Arm movements: To convey emotion and intensity, the arm movements must be fluid and graceful along with the rhythm of the music.
- Heel tap: Strike the floor with your heels and create sharp sounds.
- Handclaps: To accompany the flamenco music and dance. Making it livelier and more energetic.
- Proper posture: Maintain a strong & upright posture with uplifted chest and shoulder back.
- Turns & spirals: Some spins are added for the dynamics of the performance. It requires balance & precision to keep up with the music.
Flamenco is a combination of dance, music, & passion. Our flamenco class will teach you the basics to guide you and embrace the real essence of flamenco through improvisation and flowing with the music’s rhythm.
Highlights
