About our salsa dance lesson in Barcelona
Our salsa class will share the tricks on how to achieve this sensual dance smoothly. This one-hour class offers basic dance lessons with professional instructors, teaching you essential steps that will allow you to master the dance in a short time.
- Warm up: Gentle stretches of feet, basic footwork, and light movements to get your body into the rhythm and flow of Latin dance.
- Rhythm: Listening to a piece of music and clapping or stepping to the beat to develop a sense of timing.
- Footwork: Learn the foundational steps used in many Latin dances. Basic forward and back steps, side-to-side, and cha-cha steps.
- With a partner: Practice leading and following your partner, responding to each other´s movements.
- Turns and spins: Learn the basic right and left turns focusing on the right timing.
