The following activities are the ones we have found interesting for your stay in Madrid apart from the International conference. Check them out!
Important: Some of the activities have a deadline to be booked. After that time, they might be fully booked, so be sure to do it as fast as possible. Also, as some of them will be special for us, they will be private, so there could be some logistic changes.
Keep in mind that the number of people for the conference is around 250. So if you want to secure your participation in any of the activities, you mus book ASAP
Walking City Tour
In 2 hours, you will be immersed in the vibe of the Spanish Capital. An expert guide of the city will take you through those little places where the buses can’t go.
A charismatic guide will show you the most emblematic places of the city while you learn about the local history, legends, and anecdotes of Madrid.
You will visit:
- Puerta del Sol (main square) and its monuments
- Calle Arenal
- San Ginés
- Opera House
- Royal Palace
- Almudena Cathedral
- Barrio de los Austrias (oldest neighborhood)
- Plaza Mayor

Flamenco Show
If there is something you can’t miss while you are in Madrid, it’s definitely a Flamenco show. We have chosen 2 of the top 5 flamenco venues in the city where our groups will get a special price, for you to enjoy the art and passion of a flamenco performance.
Option A: Las Tablas Flamenco: Located in the renowned Plaza España, this charming place hosts some of the most important flamenco dancers, guitarists, and singers of the flamenco scene in Spain. Here, you will enjoy a show with 4 to 5 different artists on stage, and one drink is included in your ticket price.
Option B: Las Carboneras Flamenco:Another one of the top 5 flamenco venues in Madrid, located in the oldest neighborhood of the city, where you will also find some of the most important flamenco artists in Spain. In this venue, you will experience a show with at least 7 artists on stage, and a drink is also included.

Prado and Reina Sofia Museums
For the lovers of art we have important information about 2 of the main museums in the city. The National Prado Museum and the National Art Museum Reina Sofia: both are free the last 2 hours of the day, so you might want to check them out.
National Prado Museum: The second biggest art gallery around the world, just after the Louvre in Paris, it is also the biggest Classical Spanish Art Collection in the world. You will find artists like, Velazquez, Goya, Murillo, Tintoretto, Rubens, Bosco, Bruegel and many more.
National Art Museum Reina Sofia: For those who prefer modern and contemporary art, Reina Sofia will be a great choice. Here, you will find artists like Picasso, Miró, Dalí, Saura, Gris, and temporary exhibitions of different kinds, such as photography, sculpture, painting, etc.

Toledo Day-trip
Known as the city of the 3 cultures, Toledo, the old capital of the Spanish Kingdom, is one of the most charming cities you will find in Europe. The city is full of narrow streets and ancient buildings that you might have seen only in movies! Well now you will have the opportunity to visit on a day trip of around 8 hours that departs at 1:30 pm and returns around 9:30 pm.
This tour will have included the round trip Madrid-Toledo-Madrid, a walking tour that goes through the streets of Toledo. The option with a wristband includes: to entrance (by yourself) to 7 of the most interesting monuments, such as: Real Colegio de Doncellas Nobles, Church of the Jesuits, San Juan de los Reyes, Old Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, Santo Tomé (with Greco’s famous painting), Church of El Salvador, and the Synagogue of Santa Maria Blanca. To finish the day you will enjoy a panoramic view tour of the city and free time for you to explore the city on your own.

Avila & Segovia Day-trip
To finish the week we have planned a full day trip for you where you will visit two other cities. Starting in the morning, we’ll head to Avila a lovely town, a few kilometers away from Madrid, where you will have a walking tour and some free time. After that, we’ll go to Segovia, famous for its Roman Aqueduct that you will find right in the city.
In Segovia, you will also have a walking tour of the city included, so you can get to know more about its history and legends with a private guide.
