About our half day guided tour in Madrid
Join us for a half-day guided tour of Madrid and dive into the city’s rich history, local cuisine, and authentic culture. We’ll start at Puerta del Sol, the heart of Madrid and its busiest square, and take you through the city’s beautiful streets. Along the way, you’ll admire stunning architecture, hear interesting stories about the city’s past from our friendly, knowledgeable guide and take photos for remembrance. - Meet us at Puerta del Sol
- Start the walking tour
- First stop: Churros at San Gines
- Continue the tour: Opera house (Royal Theatre)
- Plaza Oriente
- See the Royal Palace of Madrid (once the residence of the Spanish royal family)
- Santa Maria de la Almudena (the main cathedral)
- Las vistillas (the viewpoint)
- Barrio de los Austrias (the oldest neighbourhood of the city)
- Plaza de la Paja
- Stop for food tasting at Mercado de la cebada
- Another stop for Madrid´s traditional liquor
- Plaza Mayor (one of the most beautiful and important square of Madrid)
- Barrio de las letras (where some of the most important Spanish writers lived or hang around)
- Plaza de Santa Ana (a square where locals chill and dine)
- Lunch or dinner at an old traditional Spanish tavern
