About our full day guided tour in Madrid
This full day tour is the perfect way to experience the best of Madrid in just one day, combining history, art, food, and entertainment for a truly unforgettable experience.
The tour starts at the iconic Puerta del Sol, where you will meet your knowledgeable guide and begin your journey through the city’s historic streets. From there, you will be taken to one of the oldest bakeries in Madrid for breakfast where you’ll get to try one of Spain’s most famous dishes: churros with chocolate.
Next, the tour will head to the magnificent Opera House and the Palacio Real de Madrid (one of the biggest in Europe). You will be able to admire the stunning architecture and explore the Royal Palace grounds, including the famous Plaza Oriente, Sabatini Gardens, and the main cathedral, Santa Maria de la Almudena.
After the Royal Palace, the tour will continue through the charming Barrio de los Austrias, one of Madrid’s oldest neighborhoods, before stopping at a local tavern for a taste of Madrid’s traditional liquor, where your guide will introduce you to the local culture.
Throughout the tour, you will be able to try some of the city’s delicious tapas at different stops, giving you a true taste of Madrid’s culinary scene.
