About las Carboneras

Tablao Las Carboneras is in one of Madrid’s most historic and traditional neighborhoods: Madrid de los Austrias. Located in this culturally rich area, the venue was started with the idea of bringing back the feel of old cabarets. Over the years, it has become known for mixing authentic flamenco with a modern touch, creating a one-of-a-kind mix of food and live shows.
As part of its effort to support new ideas and talent, Las Carboneras began the Flamenco Dance Contest two years ago. With this project, the venue wants to highlight new dancers and help young artists with bold, creative styles. Since 2011, the contest has honored standout performers, including Moisés Navarro, Cristina Hall, Gema Moneo, Triana Maciel, and Florencia O’Ryan.
In addition, besides its exciting flamenco shows, Las Carboneras also serves a top-quality selection of Spanish food. Guests can enjoy the live music while viewing changing art displays from well-known artists like José Maldonado, Candy Román, Ari Alexis Patacuás, Juan Herrera, Shin Yamasawa, Diego Agudo Pinilla, Isabel Fischer, and Ana Palma. All of this comes together to create a rich and unforgettable cultural experience.
